Commercial elastomeric roof coating applied to the low-slope roof of a golf course maintenance building. This project was completed in Fort Myers, Florida, around October 2025.

Location: Kelly Greens area near Iona, Fort Myers, FL

About this project

Golf course maintenance buildings take a lot of abuse: equipment in and out all day, fuel and chemical storage, and roofs that are rarely seen by anyone but the grounds crew. This one is in the Kelly Greens area near Iona in south Fort Myers, on low ground close to the Gulf, where heat, humidity and storms are constant.

For this commercial project we applied an elastomeric roof coating over the building's existing low-slope roof, along with pipe boot and penetration details. An elastomeric coating forms a seamless, flexible membrane that stretches and recovers as the roof heats and cools, seals small cracks and seams, and reflects sunlight to help keep the building cooler.

For a facility like this, coating is often more practical than a full replacement when the existing roof is still structurally sound. It extends roof life with little disruption to daily operations. Penetrations get special attention, because vent pipes and equipment curbs are where low-slope roofs usually leak first. Epoch works with commercial and golf properties across Lee County. If your building's low-slope roof is aging, ask us whether coating or replacement makes more sense.
